Hey, I was just wondering, how many notes/measure and bpm does 6 notes per beat add up to at 2 beats/second? That's about how fast I play my rhythm and I was wondering what to tell a drummer if I need to be technical. Thanks. I notice I tap my foot twice per second, which would be 120 bmp and I play six notes per beat, which which would be 24th notes at 120 bpm, which is weird. 24 / 16 = 1.5, and 1.5 x 120 = 180. So am I playing 16th notes at 180 bpm? I suck at figuring this sort of thing out, and I've never seen a metronome with a 180 bpm setting, so I'm confused. Could I slow it down a bit and tell a drummer 160 bpm? Or am I way off? Thanks for any input.

Seems to me like you're playing 16th notes with a triplet feel at 120 bpm, but I could be wrong... I'll be back. Also, wrong forum, but I don't really care.
