Hi what is the best amp for John Frusciante's sound? I have $2000. Im looking at getting a Marshall 1959 reissue just like he uses.

Where did you see that he uses a 1959 reissue? All the times I've seen him live it's been Silver Jubilees and Majors. You can still find Jubilees if you're patient, that's the amp to have for the RHCP era tones. Ceriatone makes a Jubilee clone if you want something newer.

Yeah, I think the consensus is that the official Marshall reissues are overpriced; you can get the same amp from other manufacturers for less.
