How do you deal with a lick that's impossible to pick. i have to do 2 downstrokes after each other, that's the only way, but it's so fast that i just can't do it. It's a downstroke on the B string then an upstroke on e and another downstroke on B, then have to downstroke on B again because i have to pick the e string afterwards.
What to do? Do you think i can do it if I practice the two downstrokes after each other?

Economy picking, or just strict alternate picking would do.

Instead of using a DUDDU like you stated, try DUUDU.
Though that does seem rather easy to simply alternate pick.
Where's Waldo?

If you tab out the lick I'll tell you how I reckon it should be picked.

it's about 220 bps, 2 strokes each beat

E---7-------------9-...
B-7---7-10b12----...

the bend is one note

I'd recommend picking that with straight alternate picking, ie. D U D U D.

Picking the B with an U then the e with a D is so weird...
And btw, it repeats. again the B and the E with the same speed

You should really get used to inside picking. The way you're trying to do it makes very little sense.
Speed is a by-product of shut the fuck up.

When in doubt, alternate pick. Some of the string changes can get a bit complicated, but up to a certain tempo, alternate picking works for anything.

Yes. Steve Morse is proof.

You just need to practice more. Eventually something like this will seem pretty straightforward.

Personally I'd pick something like that much like this:

e|---7---------9-
b|-7---7-10h12---

P--D-U-D-U-----U-

But really at that kind of speed you should be able to do it with any of the methods people here have spoken of.

Assuming he means 220bpm rather than 220bps.

Well yes but I think in this case that's a pretty reasonable assumption
