I play worship/alternative.

I own a LTD Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Tweed 1x12.

I love the clean sound, and I want something to match it, maybe a peavey classic 50/30?

I'm looking into getting another combo, to match it so I can run my rig into stereo.

What other combos you suggest me to get?

My budget is less than 600$, and I'm only buying off my craigslist in the bay area.

wow. tons of stuff. I got a bit carried away and started posting stacks as well as combos but still good to see for comparison. I'd go for one of those Mesa's. I didn't bother posting in Fender combos obviously. That Ampeg probably won't work either.

But yeah, otherwise - I think you are on the right track by thinking about a Classic 30.

Thanks bro,

I was just thinking of using the second amp, as an overdriven tone, to color my clean tone on my fender.

Wondering if I should pair it up with a mesa or a vox or a classic 30 now lol.. I want something that maybe would look neat next to my Lacquered Tweed Deluxe.

I would consider a Vox Night Train and the matching 1 x 12 cab..

Edit. The Night train is 15 watts. There is a 50 watter but i don't know about the sound.

Because......you want everything to look 'balanced and organized' on stage right?

j/k Inside joke. Let me know if you don't get it.

dude, get the class 5. Even though its small, it will match the volume of your previous amp if you are going to put it at a slightly overdriven tone.

Vox ac15c1.

The price is nice the reviews are great.

If youre just getting it for the crunch and using the hot rod for cleans itll be fine at 15 watts.

When people say versatile I just think of being mediocre ate many different things

When people say versatile they generally mean its good for many things. If it was mediocre then they'd say "Yea, its not that good."

TS: Have you looked into Blackheart? The Handsome Devil is a pretty nice amp. Also, the Vox AC15, Peavey C30, Jet Cit JCA2112 would all be work well.

Can't really think of any other small crunchy combos off the top of my head right now though. My lack of UG'ing has made me a bit rusty at this.

Please don't bring THAT thread up again, let it rest in peace.

I'd say look into one of the Jet City combos/stacks. I quite like the OD sounds you get on those, it sounds pretty vintage and doesn't really go past a hard OD...definitely not metal territory. But isn't that what pedals are for??
