i looked up the dimensions for the lower bout on this guitar and it says 14 3/4".
every guitar case i have looked up in my price range of about 70 dollars is 13"
i REALLY dont want to spend as much on the case as i spent on the guitar which was about 150. but i need a hardshell case so i can take it on the plane with me when i go home on leave in a month or so. any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, the original Ibanez cases are $150.00 each, but I'm sure there are cases from companies like SKB, ProLine, etc...

But I think even a relatively decent hard case will cost about $100.00 anyway.

Well SKB makes a few that fit Les Paul type guitars, it kinda looks like one might fit, but it's still gonna be close to the $100.00 range. Hardcases aren't real cheap as a rule. I did see a post here within the last 2 weeks about a wood case that might work, but I can't remember the thread...sorry.
