Anyone know of any classical music that can inspire creativity for writing (for writing prose, music and scripts etc)?

Cheers

I was also going to ask if you've got spotify, cause again, a decent classical list.

EDIT: My tag is the same as my username here. Look me up.

It's really good, but apparently not so for the people who aren't premium subscribers (IE, people who pay for it). You should get it though if it ever comes to ireland

Bachs violin pieces, and his fugues.
Everything that Beethoven has writen
Everything that Mozart has writen, but specially Mozarts Requiem mass in D minor has a verystrong effect on me, it makes me feel like a small piece of shit as a musician but i also think that Mòzarts Requiem is defenetly one of the best pieces ever writen.

I'm not a big classical expert, but I quite enjoy Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.5 performed by Alfred Brendel. That and Chopin's Preludes by Evgeny Kissin

No. Classical music will drain any semblance of creativity from your soul and then rape your mother.

ESPECIALLY Bach.

YES BACH.

I think Bach is the greatest there ever has been and probably will be.

I know I'm stroking your classical manliness atm, but what would you suggest to listen to as an introduction to bach?

in Xiaoxi's words:

"I believe that Bach's Well Tempered Clavier and Art of Fugue hold the answers to life."

Honestly, I don't know what to tell ya. I hated Bach for 5 years before I finally came around.

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata inspired me to write a short novel Just let your mind wander when you listen to anything instrumental.

try listening to Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring." watch the segment from Fantasia.

and if you don't like the music, there are at least dinosaurs, so that's cool.
