Hey all.

I've decided to split the budget of my amp and guitar to get €1000-1500 for the amp and about the same for a guitar.
So what I am looking for is max 25 watts or more with a masterknob!
Reverb built in.
Footswitch (included or not I don't care)
FX loop
Dirty and clean channel.
Great quality speaker.
Combo or head + cab as long as the head and cab togheter match my budget.
I want it to get a great BIG sound.
With big I mean that it sounds more like a stack rather then 1 speaker.

rock and metal but I just need to get a hard rock crunch out of the amp an extra drive pedal will do the rest, since I don't play that much metal.

It is slightly over wattage at 30 but I would suggest an Egnater Rebel. Maybe a Hughes and Kettner Puretone (I don't know it's price in Euro)...

EDIT: Puretone is one channel, my mistake

It's also not much of a hard-rock amp, I'd say.

TS, look into an Engl Raider, it matches what you described very well. It's a 1x12" combo that is engineered to sound as huge as you can hope for with a 1x12" and it excels at heavier rock. It's more powerful than what you asked for, but the master-volume on it is very usable.

You're a master knob!

joke but i couldnt resist.

Jet city could be worth a look i'd class them as a hard rock amp and if you get the source clearance ones on ebay (distributor clearing there warehouse brand new amps, really cheap prices) you could probs get the 100 watt head (don't worry it has a master knob ) and really rad cab for way under budget
