Ok, so one of the things i plan to upgrade in future is my neck pickup. What i most play ranges from A7X to Arch Enemy, so it has to sound good with decent amount of gain. Nice cleans are welcome, as my bridge pup is rather balls-to-the-wall metal and cleans aren't very satysfying. Choice is kinda limited out there, I got to choose from EMG, DiMarzio, SD and Gibson, also I need them to be passive.

Edit: forgot to mention that my neck position is for single-coil.

We need a budget and the guitar otherwise I would recommend Bareknuckle Sinners for metal.

Or BKP Trilogy Suites, depends on the exact type of tone you are looking for, smoother or more aggressive? And you'd have to get your output matched as close as possible, EG: 2-3k lower difference from the bridge typically.

My bridge one is SD Invader and I'm happy with it, but it just isn't that versatile. My budget would be like just above ~100$, but I it's recalculated form local currency (I live in Poland, Europe) so prices may vary a bit.

And with sinners could be kind of difficult, unless you got a high output bridge

I think only the bridge Sinner is difficult, at 21k it's kinda hard to control that thing. My Trilogy Suites are beautiful pickups, neck is 12.5k, great metal pickup if you have the gain, great modern blues, jazz tone as well, it's so smooth.

Here's some technical data, for your convenience.

http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/pickups.php?cat=strats&sub=contemporary&pickup=trilogy_suite

Invader bridge: 16.8k ohms

Sinner neck: 15k ohms (difference from bridge: 1.8k ohm)

Trilogy Suite neck: 12.5k ohms (difference from bridge: 4.3k ohm)

These are just the two pickups recommended in this thread by previous posters, but BKP are known to be good.
