Im wondering what equipment is available for running tracks on stage. For instance you have a track of an orchestra that you want to play with your band in a certain part. What is the standard for doing this? Im not interested in one of those boss loop stations or anything like that.

Usually you would have the track on a laptop which would be played through a PA but you would need a click for the drummer so he can keep in time with the track and keep the band in time. Also make sure the click isn't being played through the PA.

Might need a DI Box to plug the laptop into a house system, too.

Oh yeah, that too!

Thats actually really cool, that foot controller. I was looking for a new type of foot controller recently and now you have turned me on to one. Thanks.

Also thanks for the info on the tracks.
