I don't remember any of the lyrics, so I can't look it up on Google.

It goes something like this:

E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
B - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
G - 6 - 9 - 6 - 9 - 6 - 9 - 6 - 4 - 2 - - -
D - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
B - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
G - 6 - 9 - 6 - 9 - 6 - 9 - 6 - 4 - 2 - - -
D - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I think it's a "classic" punk rock song, but I don't remember what it is.

There's a good chance that what I've written above is useless and if you take any of the advice it's your own fault.

What kind of tempo are we looking at here?

Something around 140 BPM to 160 BPM.

The song's a very faint memory, so I might be wrong. It's definitely by some well-known punk band, though. If I had to guess, perhaps Ramones.

The way you've tabbed it makes it look like its in a weird time signature to me like one bar of 4/4 time followed by a bar of 5/4 or something crazy, 9 1/4 notes before the pattern repeats...

I don't recognise it.
Sounds pretty shit tbh.

It's punk, it's meant to.
