Title.

Stuff that makes you realize you're getting older. I'll name some:

-Seeing people from high school who have now grown facial hair and gained weight. Some of them are even married and/or have kids.

-Pokemon Red and Blue came out 15 years ago.

-I've started noticing sometimes the girl in a porn video is younger than I am (seriously, there are legal porn starts born in 1993).

My mom was telling me it really makes you feel old when your doctors and dentists start getting younger than you. That thought really sounds weird to me.

Also, inb4 clever response from Jackal58.

My 9 year old cousin came over to play Super Smash Bros Brawl. after playing for a while, he asked if we could play "the first one". I grab my N64 and put the game in.
"what the hell is this? that's not it."
"yea it is, this is the first one."
"oh, I meant Melee."
we played the first one and he said he hated it. I nearly cried.

When you go to the store and it says born after_____ then don't bother trying to buy smokes or whatever. The year is in the 90's now WTF! Then you look at the shows that are on Nick at Nite and it just confirms you are getting old.

~Knowing the second game I ever bought is eleven years old.
~Remakes of that game coming out. Hell, remakes of anything from my childhood.
~The Gameboy sitting on my desk is at least nine years old.
~Episode III came out in 2005.
~Having intelligent discussions with people born in years where I remember what was happening.
~Referring to "the good old days" and not being sarcastic.
~Voting.
~Being an uncle.
~Knowing people who aren't tiny little kids that never saw the twin towers.
~The nineties were two decades ago now.

"Ladies and gents."

That concludes our tour of the toilets.

The fact that this girl I like was born in the 1990s, and is still 20 years old.

Granted I'm only 23, but still. That just seems odd.

The game I most recently played and the only game I play at the moment (Civilization 2) was released 96... 15 years ago.

Interesting detail. The last technology available at that time was "Stealth". (As in Stealth bombers and stealth fighters)

Realizing my 29th birthday is coming up on Monday. I'm one year away from 30 yet I feel like I just graduated high school. Also changing my kids' diapers makes me feel old too for some reason.

I feel old when I see my friends from grade school's younger siblings. I remember some of these kids from when they were babies. They're in like, 5th grade now.

I also feel old when I remember that I turned 18 last week... :P

Oh another one.

When I was younger I played football and another one in my team's little sister used to come and watch the trainings and the games. Now she's about 20 years old and I'd easily have sex with her if possible.

That's rather weird.

A few days ago I was having dinner with some old buddies (wait i'm only 18) and we were talking and shit. One of the dudes found out his g/f is pregnant last week and they're engaged now. So that's hella weird. Thinking about when i'm 23, he'll have a 5 year old kid. And my other friend is planning on getting married to his g/f pretty soon. I feel like i'm behind or something.

I also remember when you could buy 44 ounce cokes for like 69 cents and candy bars for something cheap like that too. I don't drink that stuff anymore, but it's crazy to me how much things have gone up.

Yeah.. that one stings...

I still have some VHS movies

Found a tape when I moved a couple years ago and realized I had nothing to play it in( RIP sweet Spin Doctors jams ...)

Know how to use a atlas/dictionary/thesaurus etc. w/o Google... They don't really teach it anymore apparently...

Pay phones (and they used to be 25 cent, saw one now and it was 75... wtf...)

I felt really old when a lot of the legends of rock started hitting their 60's.

Also when I was growing up in the 80's, 60's rock seemed like a log time ago. Now the 80's are farther away from now than the 60's were from then.

My dad and his cousin invested in that business and tried to get money on that. It was huge in California, so they thought it'd be big in Texas. It wasn't, and my mom HATES pogs.

The N64 is and always will be the best gamesystem to me.

I bought one last summer just to replay the Ocarina of Time again. Still think it's the greatest game ever made.

That's my all time favorite game.

I had the Pitbull slammer - it was silver and had a picture of the dog under clear plastic in the middle, and it weighed a ton.

Gods, those things were incredibly stupid in retrospect.
