What's your favourite vocalist in a modern band? Bands that surfaced in the last 15 years or so.

Personally I'd go with Julian Casablancas or Chris Martin (not a coldplay fan, but like his singing).

But then formed Angels and Airwaves where he's now like a spiritual guardian who wears leather and parts his hair

I haven't gone as far as to listen to his album yet, maybe if I like his next single, then I'll give it a shot.

Massive toss up between Jorn Lande and Russel Allen, I think I'd have to go for Lande though. I think his voice has a much great power to it.

I'm a huge Muse fan and I love bellamy, and he's amazing with some material (the scream-y stuff). He sucks at ballads though.

define "modern" and "singer" for me.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

Definitely this chap down here.

Listen to this and you'll know why.

Radiohead's just slightly out of that 15 year range, but yes, that chap up there.

Claudio Sanchez is another one of my favorites, at the moment at least.

Dat vato from The Mars Volta.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

Ray Lamontagne and Dallas Green for me.

Also, while not really my style of music, Norah Jones has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard.

I'd like to help, but not as much as I'd like not to.

Thom Yorke (although Radiohead started out of the 15 year range). I won`t get into how much TKOL makes me ejaculate, I`ll just say Thom Yorkes vocals are sexy.

Also, Roy Khan.

And Eugene Hutz, just because I love that man, and not because of his vocal ability.
I'm just like the Jonas Brothers,

I'm no longer relevant and write mediocre music.

Holy shit! 3 people said Jorn Lande! Glad to see you guys know him. He's one of the best singers ever.
