So I am looking at a new amp...
I am looking at a Marshall VintageModern (JCM800 if I can get my hands on one) and a Vox AC30. I play everything from Classic Rock to 90's Grunge
My current gear is in my sig.
Gibson Les Paul [498T + 490R]
Vox V845 Wah
Ibanez TS9
Hardwire SC-2
Handmade ToneBender mkII clone.
EHx Small Clone
TC PolyTune
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III

Budget?

Genres?

Used/New?

Closest city?

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

Oh, sorry. can't believe i forgot that stuff.

I said above I play most kinds of Blues and Rock, like 60's-90's, not much metal.
I have no preference over New or used.
I am a 20min. train ride from NYC

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album

Sir, I love you. I'd prefr a JCM over VM anyway. But I'm still torn between that or a AC30. It'd be interesting dragging a 1/2 stack through penn station

Man...JCM800 kills an AC30 for classic rock. Especially those Mid 80's ones.
Get the 800 and never look back.

I got a great deal on the Fender '65 deluxe reverb limited edition from MF. After 20% discount and free shipping i got it for $850. it is one hell of an amp and i feel would fit the music you like to play very well. IMO

Every guitar and bass forum I've visited has some people chasing some magical tone that will shoot jizzing unicorns riding on a rainbow out of their amp.

A deluxe reverb over a JCM800 for classic rock?
