I'm looking for some new speakers for my B-52 4x12, which I run my 700 watt Trace Elliot into. The stock speakers are 120 watts at 16 ohms, but sound like crap, I run my Trace Elliot in at 4 ohms which gives me 480 watts, so I need 4 speakers that will give me at least that, or at least 700 watts.

I'm not too concerned about tone, since I can EQ whatever out with the built in 12 band EQ and compressor, but I want no speaker break up whatsoever, pristine cleans, and a good throaty midrange. I'm hoping to keep it under $400.

I like the Jenson mod series, pretty decent speakers as I found out with my Yamaha GA-10, but the biggest 12" they make is 110 watts. http://www.tubedepot.com/sp-jen-mod12-110.html

Some Eminence Swamp Thang's at 150 watts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eminence-SWAMP-THANG-12-Guitar-Speaker-150-Watt-16-Ohm-/370310889913?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56383fc1b9

Eminence Texas Heat at 150 watts, tad bit cheaper http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eminence-TEXAS-HEAT-12-Guitar-Speaker-150-Watt-16-Ohm-/220772199764?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33670c6d54

The only speaker that I've found with enough watts to cover my Trace Elliot is this Electro Voice EVM12L 200 watt, but it's $230 a piece, tad to expensive. http://www.amazon.com/Electro-Voice-EVM12L-Classic-Speaker/dp/B0013MMZZC

Anybody got any good ideas? Or should I just look at bass speakers?

Buy a guitar amp Ethan.

Or buy a bass cab.
