A palace of the sui dynasty
Li Shangyin

The old Palace by the purple fountains
locked in mist and cloud-wrack.
The Emperor had coveted Yangzhou
to make his royal dwelling,
But the jade seal was not his destiny -
it passed to the Horned Sun.
His embroidered sails could have reached
the edge of the world.

No fireflies sparkle < br>on these rotten grasses now,
Only crows come at dusk
to age-old weeping willows.
If he should meet Houzhu of Chen
beneath the earth.
Will he remind him, I wonder,
of "the backyard flowers"?

I'm pretty sure the 'unsubscribe' link would redirect to a phishing site.
However, I don't even want to unsubscribe. I am intrigued, and rather entranced. I want to receive more of these poems, misguided though they seem.
So they seem to have defeated the purpose of their spamming, since the content of their email makes me NOT want to unsubscribe, and hence fall into their trap.
Has anyone else received beautiful spam poetry?

Which way I fly is Hell; myself am Hell;
And, in the lowest deep, a lower deep
Still threatening to devour me opens wide,
To which the Hell I suffer seems a Heaven.

Bored? read these, or this

Catch me,
heal me,
Lift me back up to the Sun
I choose to live

Fikst. I definitely heard gongs in my head when I read it as well
