I found a Charvel model 1 in a pawn shop yeaterday. They want $200 for it I know I can get it for $150, but is this a diecent deal?

It has the Ft. Worth neck plate, but I am unsure of the exact yr.

Any one have any input on this for me?

It's an excellent Japanese guitar from the late 1980s. If it is in good shape then the neck alone can sell for $200. The body is made from a great piece of basswood, possibly old growth, the metal parts are made of high-quality steel, and the electronics are good. In good shape they usually go for $400–$500 on eBay.

this is a bit if a stretch so i'm guessing that you are thinking of older american made charvels. you'd be hard pressed to get $400 for a model 1

they are decent guitars and if in nice shape $150 is a good price but not a steal.

150 IS a good price.
400 is a bit much
200-300 is about right.
I'd block the trem on these... pointy headstock guitars and vintage tremolos dinnae mix.
