Just posted a new piece on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=682u17Poqi0 I recorded my own rhythm on a Boss looper and then played slide guitar on top. This time I tried playing slide guitar with a heavy chromed slide as a lap steel rather than with a glass slide on my little finger. I think the tone has improved especially on the bass strings, but I can't move so quick or do really fast vibrato, as the slider is so heavy, so the technique shaped my improvisation to suit. Enjoyed myself and learned a bit more. Will definitely be using the heavy slider in future for a rich tone and great sustain. Would welcome comments and will, of course, give comments for comments.

BTW Also started using a Blue Snowball mic, which seems to work well.
