As in how much effort do you put into your appearance.

One of the things I've always appreciated about the "older days" like 50s and 60s is that you dress up a little bit for certain events. Wasn't uncommon for girls to wear dresses to school. If you're getting on an airplane, maybe dress a little nicer than usual for the occasion. etc. I don't think it's like that as much anymore..

I never wear shorts, and unless it's a day where I have literally nothing to do, I usually wear a shirt with a collar or something. I also prefer long sleeve shirts. I'm not judgmental about it or anything. My best friend would often go to school wearing sweatpants, bathroom slippers and old white t-shirts everyday.

I like girls more that dress a little nicer. I don't mean like wearing dress clothes and high heels to school everyday, but maybe jeans and a blouse or something along those lines.

I mostly just wear t-shirts and jeans and hoodies sometimes, but I make sure my clothes are clean, and the colors don't look ridiculous together.

I pick out what I wear. I make a concious decision on what I think looks good. That's it, but sometimes I feel like the people around me just grab the closest thing. I freaking hate 4 sizes too large sweatpants on girls with high quality tops.

I put effort into choosing what clothes I wear and for what occasion, but I don't spend that much time on it. And I get dressed every day, even if I'm just sitting around the house the whole time. Voted 8.

The first part of this, for the most part.

Same exact thing for me.

For school and normal everyday stuff I'll just wear jeans and a t-shirt or something along those lines as long it's clean, but if I'm going to Church or something like that I'll try a little harder to look good

I don't have a problem with looking nice when I leave my apartment. What's wrong with looking nice. Unless I'm at home studying all day, then fuck all.

I dress relative to my mood and what I plan on doing that day. Sometimes I'll wear jeans, a t-shirt and (depending on the weather) a hoodie. Other times I'll wear jeans and a button down shirt with a tie.

I love to dress nice, but I feel out of place when I do so I usually don't. But nothing beats wearing a sweater. If the weather wasn't awful most of the year, I would wear sweaters and wear some slacks maybe more often.

But seeing as I get pissed off when it gets hot, and it's hot alot, I just wear some cargo shorts and a t-shirt with either a hoodie or a button up long sleeved shirt, usually plaid. That's my daily dress. When it gets to be winter i'll wear jeans with a hoodie or a jacket of some sort. I dress fairly normally.

I plan my wardrobe days in advance usually, which I personally think is weird. So I care about how I look. I don't like it when girls wear dresses and high heels very often, but I don't like when they wear a hoodie and sweats. I like a balance between looking spiffy and looking lazy, tis sexy.

I won't wear the clothes I sleep in out in public, but I usually just grab whatever is nearest. I'll often end up wearing dirty jeans or wrinkled t-shirts, perhaps with a stain or two on them. If I'm going out somewhere I'll make sure I look nice, but for everday wear, almost anything goes.

Pretty much this.
I don't work an office job, and I don't have a frequent social life and I don't go to college so there's just no need for me to dress up.
I do own smart clothes, and know how to make a good appearance...it's just not worth the effort unless I'm actually going somewhere.
Which is like...never.

So...2/3

I wear a three piece suit four times a week. People seem to think it's a bigger hassle than it is to put them on. And I like the way it looks. I have a new one coming a few days here.

And recently I've discovered disco shirts and bell bottoms. I figured, if Billy Corgan was able to rock the disco shirt, then so could I.

I wear T-shirts, shorts/jeans, and Converse most of the time, but I at least try to match. I think my favorite "outfit" I wear is my black-and-white Animals as Leaders jersey/shirt thing that says CAFO as the name on the back, with gre(a?)y shorts and gre(a?)y Converse.

Well most of my pants are either black or jeans, and most of my shirts are black or white, if I grab a random pair of pants and a random shirt my clothes will probably match. So I don't put much effort. I'll vote 4/10

I'm a 3, I guess. Apart from socks, I haven't even bought clothes (apart from new sweatpants, which I guess doesn't really count) since January'ish.

I bother to try and look somewhat presentable if I'm going to meet someone, but if I'm just going to the convenience store or whatever I'll just go with what I'm wearing. Which usually is sweatpants and a t-shirt, maybe a hoodie/jacket on colder days.
When some stranger on the internet says it is so, it must be so.

Used to be 3, now it's about a 7. Lately I've been going with nice shoes, leisure jacket, etc. No clue why, actually, feels good though.

Black shirt, blue jeans, black shoes. Done.

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.
#29
i normally wear jeans, plain t-shirt, and an overshirt. i got this suit that i really love wearing too.
#30
I said 6/10.

I make a conscious effort to look nice at any given time, if I leave the house. Not in that feminine "OMG I need my full makeup layout and some clean jeans so I can go to WALGREENS!", but I definitely have to look, at least, okay.

I'm also kinda picky on my hair. Always have been, for some reason. I have a receding hariline, so when I can't afford a haircut, or just get lazy, and my hair gets a tad too long for my liking, I'll spend 5-10 minutes just making sure it falls right, and doesn't look like my head is eating itself.

My usual attire is medium toned blue denim jeans, an undershirt, my old green low top Chucks, and a "cock/douche shirt", as I call it. Button down long sleeved shirts with the sleeves rolled up. I know mainly douchebags and hipsters wear them, but they're comfortable, versatile, and I look really nice in them. My mantra: "So long as I don't act like a douche, the shirt doesn't make me a douche".

It helps me sleep at night.

If I could be a 10, I totally would. I loooooove suits, and that business casual-esque look, but I don't have the money for it.

Very little effort. I'm currently wearing a grey Beatles shirt that i swear was black when i first got it 2 years ago.

Oh and Sandals every-day.

Although i do have a few pairs of Levi's (liek 7 or 8 pairs) that i never wear unless it's a special occasion. My only suit has those white fluffy stuff on them so i never wear it, lulz.

Wow i dress so crappy.

Well, if it's a holiday break from school or w/e, I usually don't shower until I'm about to go somewhere. Sometimes I don't shower for like a week straight just because I don't feel like it and I wear the same clothes all that time. I always shower before school every morning though and wear the required uniform.

When I go out to like the movies or a concert or something, I usually just put on some shorts or pants depending on the weather, and the same Beavis and Butthead shirt I've worn since last year.

Band tee, black/blue jeans, Chuck Taylors. Usually a hoodie, even when it's warm outside. Basically, whatever's at the top of the pile of clothes in my closet.

My usual attire consists of jeans, t-shirt and a plaid collared shirt. If it's chilly enough I'll wear a pea coat. I love pea coats.

for everyday wear, jeans and a t-shirt is what i'll normally put on. i don't wear ridiculous colors, and i wear close that fit me nicely (not overwhelmingly tight, but not loose). lately i've been loving these Hanes comfort-fit V-necks...they're awesome, i must buy more.

for the past year or so i've been wearing Vans almost exclusively for some reason...i guess they just go really well with the Levi's 511 jeans i wear. i also style my hair in a Tommy Giles Rogers-esque fashion if you look at recent pictures of him (my profile pic is the older way i did my hair)

when it's cold out i have a peacoat i wear, which i love. i guess i just dress like your typical college student

6, I guess.

The way I dress isn't the most important thing, but I still put a bit of an effort into looking nice. I usually just wear jeans and a t-shirt, but I make sure they're not dirty or wrinkled or terrible-looking. And I stay away from crazy mismatched colors (although... most of my wardrobe is black... >_> ).
