It's the Rickenbacker-esque semi-hollow version of the Tempest Standard:

It has independent volume and tone controls, 3-way pickup selector, a 2-way coil-split switch, ceramic vintage style pickups, all sorts of goodies

I played one the other day in Guitar Center through a Vibrolux, fell in love with it.

What do you guys think?

if you like it, that's all that matters. there's a level of objectivity/universal accuracy when it's like "which pickup, blackouts or dimebuckers?" but when it comes to midrange guitars, schecter's well established and as long as you like the sound and feel that comes out of your instrument, you can't go wrong really.

Hail isn't too edgy for posts, posts are not edgy enough for Hail.
