I recently bought a guitar that came with a few sets of 'fin-shaped' picks so im just wondering. What the hell are they used for?

I gave it a look up and all i could find was the 'ribbing' on one side of the pick is for pick scraping (obvious as they fit perfectly with the strings) and the other two sides are just for playing. Effectively its a pick designed to be a new shaped pick...

Wide edge - Normal pick.
Teethy nit - Sounds similar to 12 string sort of ringing attack.
Narrow point - For lead work, accurate picking.

Is what the ones I had before were meant to be for.
