Hi Folks.

Recorded on a sunday , I used my Line6 Guitarport running through Reaper playing my LTD EC1000. I used the Acoustic like preset and recorded two channels. Two left and right dubs were done using a Marshall preset and a bit of reverb, And the solo was done using my main Guitarport setting.

here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp7PbTPDfhQ

C4C on all links.

Any folks in the Birmingham area looking to start a band, or for a guitarist to join them out there drop us a message. Cheers.

This is really chill, I really liked the harmony of the guitar when it came in. Good playing! It's clean and put together pretty well. The only thing I can suggest it sometimes the two guitars make it sound a little busy to my ears. Maybe go for a smoother gain tone? Anyways keep up the good work man!

Thanks!

Cheers dude for the comments. I'd love to give feedback on your song, but webmasters says it's a bad link.

indy_Fire,
Playing could be a little tighter, but the song writing is pretty good overall. Lead guitars are fairly distorted compared to the clean guitar, but that's just a personal preference. I like the clean guitar tone best. Song sounds pretty good overall. Please review my music at this link:

Thanks for the pointers.

Just gave it a listen Indy. I agree with the comment about the distortion on the guitar tone. Not such much that it's distorted, but the tone sounded kind of thin and didn't seem to mesh with the background acoustic. The song is nice and the distortion tone is the only thing I found distracting. As far as playing tighter, I think that not having a strong beat makes it more difficult to get the timing in the pocket.

It looks like you make music a bit like me. I use a looper on almost all of my songs. Lay down a background and solo over it.

I have 3 songs up now. Please check out one of them and leave a comment....

Baldwin Park (blues)
Sneaky (chill)
Some Bird (easy listening)

Hey mate,

I agree with the others about the lead tone, you got some good phrasing, maybe add some more reverb/delay to the lead tone aswell, it had that kind of chillout feel to it..

The delay/reverb will add to the atmospheric feel imo!!

heres mine thanks
