You can get into a PRS SE for $300 and up. Why not go with the real thing?

EDIT: For a USED one. I picked up a used SE Singlecut in mint condition for $350 with the gig bag.

Try looking for an Agile Hawker. Currently rondmusic only has the hard tail models in left handed but they have right handed pro models that have Cepheus active pups and a floyd rose.

http://www.rondomusic.com/electricguitar-ss13.html Hawker Pro
http://www.rondomusic.com/product4036.html Hawker standard, if you are patient they will get more right handed models in stock, the right handed Hawkers sell out pretty fast.

http://www.rondomusic.com/isiscus24bus.html Sx has a PRS style as well, it use to look exactly like a PRS but I guess they got a lawsuit threat or something so they had to change up the upper horn on it.

Seriously?

In Australia, even the SE range doesn't come cheaper than $1500, unless I'm mistaken.

For a real one you're looking at $3000-6000

Sorry, I have no idea what pricing is down under. I do have a friend that lives there and has numerous PRS guitars. I will check with him and let you know.

yeah...um carvin pretty much makes an exact replica, in fact, if you oppted for all th options you could get one looking as goos as a PRS...its gong to cost a lot though

http://www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/carvedtop.php

just about the closest thing to a PRS. dont need a carved top? knock off about 300-400 with these:

http://www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/neckthrough.php

I don't know what it is, but I think Carvin makes some of the ugliest(semi-expensive) guitars on the market.

I think it may be the headtock, square inlays, and then the figured top. It looks like Carvin wasn't even trying with their design, and then they threw a figured top on it to make up for what the rest of the guitar is lacking.

dude, you realize those are just examples - you can customize them any way you want. any wood, any finish, and top, any inlays, any fingerboard.

literally every complaint you listed is custom tailored. so really, reverse everything you just said.

I don't think there's a single one below 999 there, and they're only SE models. It's the only site listed under Australian distributors on the PRS website.

I don't think he's in Australia. Grammar suggests a Romance language as his native tongue. I'd guess he's from Spain based on the username.

Either way, we'll have to wait for him to tell us where he is before we can figure out prices.

Nope, I stand by it.

That's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen.
