People usually say im TOO chilled out. Im quiet, more of a listener, and always chillen back. My friends are more on the crazy side, they like being general assholes, and are louder than me. I was just wondering if anybody else is mostly opposite from the people they like to hang with

Yeah, they're chilled, I'm a moody cunt.

yes. i'm real.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

Yeah, I'm losing what i once had in common with the friends I had for the first half of high school (and prior). The friends i got from forming a band, we have more in common, but less "bro-friendship." You need a delicate balance of both.
#7
I'd say my regular group of friends is fairly balanced in terms of personalities. Some are more extravert, some more introvert. There are some clashing opinions. Some of us are more mature than others and some are more adventurous. Some own iPhones, some Androids.

Bottom line, I love them all.

Yeah, otherwise I would just talk to myself. I always tend to take an opportunistic approach to friends though. I don't pick them based on fashion sense or music taste, just hang out with people who seem cool at the time. I think that works to keep it balanced.
Dude, where's my band?

I go from chill to totally yelling spastic from day to day. My friends are generally the same everyday. They usually just talk about video games when we see each other at lunch, even though I stopped being into video games like a year ago. We still have things in common that bond us though.
#15
Yeah. I don't have many friends, and they seem to dislike each other for the most part. I'm the one that tries to change things, they are all set in their ways.

Yeah. My best friend at school is really - and I mean REALLY - Catholic. He doesn't preach though, and he knows his religion inside and out, so it's not nearly as annoying as your ultra-religious stereotype. But there's still a divide there, and it's gotten worse since he got himself a girlfriend that's even MORE Catholic than he is.

My other school friends are either (a) on the football team or (b) drug dealers. I appreciate the occasional smoke or trip, but I keep things moderate. I don't do sports really. Outside of school, I hang with some friends that have graduated and have real careers and responsibilities. I actually run with probably 5 or 6 different circles depending on the situation, and I think I've got every major clique stereotype covered, from organic-tea-sipping hipsters to protein-shake-and-vodka-chugging bros. I don't really fit in with any of them, and usually end up being the token "metal guy," but regardless I like hanging out with them and vice versa.

So despite being a cynical sarcastic asshole I get along with almost everyone and can honestly say I make their lives better.
#25
A bit, I guess. All of my friends have some sort of quality which makes them seem crazy, but according to them, I'm pretty "normal."

I dunno, I'm pretty sure I'm crazy too. Less crazy maybe, but crazy nonetheless.
#27
my friends here at school are all pretty slutty to be honest. i mean dont get me wrong i like a roll in the hay as much as the next guy, but i'm in a relationship with someone back home, so it's kind of awkward a lot of the time if we go out and theyre putting the moves on people and i'm just trying to make friends
Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the cake this morning!

yeah, that's an inside joke. i made it different colors and sizes to be obnoxious...

Most of the time I meet people I'm not even sure I want too go. It's sort of like a since the the way I treated friendships and society has led to me being extremely frustrated by its dysfunctionalness I'm not sure I want to continue behaving the same way so I usually resolve to not bother my friends again when I am feeling moody or sensitive and then hurt there feelings by telling them to collectively **** off.
#29
for the most part no. my close friends in high school were just as laid back as i was and the same goes for my friends from college.

Yes. I am completely individual and a special snowflake. I do not associate with people similar to myself because that would only make far too much sense. Not that there's anybody similar to myself in existence in which to associate.

Shit, I am just so special and unique guys. I sit in the back of class and listen to Neutral Milk Hotel and play guitar.

My friends all think I'm weird. I'm awkward, have a strange sense of humour and my mannerisms are somewhat eccentric. It's a miracle I have any friends at all, if I'm honest.

2 of my housemates told me that their first impression of me was that I'm, and I quote, "different".

So yeah, I'm a bit odd.

Do I care?

Fuck, no.

I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

I like my women how I like my guitars. Curvy and like it when I finger them.

Not really. Me and my friends are assholes to each other and we prefer it that way. But we each can be pretty supportive to ourselves and other people when need be.

This.

Well, some of my friends are chilled. The rest are a bit off the wall or temperamental.

My friends closest to me from my home state are all really nice with a really demented sense of humor like mine. Two of them are my age, and I've known them since elementary school. We're a lot alike, but our views on things like religion and relationships vary. The other two are 28 and 29, and I didn't meet them until adulthood. Despite our age differences, I share common interests with both of them, and we get along quite well.

And as for my friends in my home away from home...

My friends in Cali all grew up very differently than I did, in upscale suburban areas. They're still pretty cool, and they can relate to the party animal in me. They're a little prissy at times though.
