i have a crate guitar cab and i was wondering what i can use as a head for it.
would i be able to use a fender frontman 15G?
if not what could i use

You can use any head you want as long as it doesn't exceed the Ohm's that the cab can handle (I think). Wait for the regulars to say what they think.

I'm just gonna assume that you were going to connect it through the aux output. That won't work so no not your frontman. What kind of crate cab is it? What about the Ohm's? What is your price range? What kind of music do you play?

A "tubescreamer" is a person paid by a guitarist to stand behind the amp and scream at the tubes. This terrifies the tubes into overdriving and delivers a thick, harmonic-rich tone.
