I'm a tad curious; where does The Pit get their news from?

For example, I really don't watch TV news, mostly because it's typically biased, sensationalist, and very inaccurate, but also because I really don't watch TV at all anymore. UG is my homepage, and although I don't read most of the articles, I read those that catch my attention. I also watch the Phillip DeFranco show on Youtube every day that it's posted. Other than that, I just get my news from The Pit (which hasn't happened much lately, seeing as I've been less active around here), word-of-mouth, and my history class, which starts every day with current events (it's typically based more around what's entertaining than what's actually news-worthy, though).

So, what about you? Where do you get all of your news from?

Well yeah you can recognize bias in how they report but there's always bias in what they choose to report and what they don't that you can't see.

Because I can tell what is biased and what is not by thinking about it.

I am a news junkie so I get my news from a lot of different places. I use MSNBC, CNN, and the Before It's News websites the most. We don't have tv so I don't ever watch the news unless I am in the doctor's office or something.

Drudgereport all the way. Basically a collection of news articles that are pure fact rather than opinion.

I watch the news. Canadian news stations aren't as biased or divided like American news stations are, although they are a bit duller.

I normally only watch the news for events where they can't have a liberal/conservative bias.

Al Jazeera, BBC, New York Times, Fox and CNN. I think a multitude of perspectives is best.
WARNING:This post contains explicit portrayals of violence; sex; violent sex; sexual violence; clowns and violent scenes of violent excess, which are definitely not suitable for all audiences.

NPR, local news stations, hearing about shit on forums/tumblr/facebook/whatever.

A man was shot in his downtown apartment today. On his face someone had written "Obama is teh gheyz"

Here at News Channel 12, we completely agree.

I don't care enough about murder stories to pay attention to them.

I meant events like earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.

I'm less worried about the bias, and more worried about the fact that there's a gun that can take down a tsunami.
