Ok, well i've recently played a 6262 and a 333xl and i absolutely love the 6262. however i noticed without a noisegate (store wouldnt let me take one off the rack)
it has a large ammount of fuzz, if i was to put a noise gate in where would you guys suggest i put it to cancel this high gain feedback?

Either in the loop or before the amp. Either way the last in the chain, exept if you got like a delay or something that you want after that.

Experiment, you can easily tell which one cancels more fuzz & shizm.

And yeah, get an ISP Decimator, pedal or rack.

in front of the amp will cancel noise from your guitar. In the FX loop will cancel preamp noise.

You finally made it home, draped in the flag that you fell for.
And so it goes

Either way you're going to need a noise gate for any high gain amp.

ISP decimator is the way to go. Make sure you aren't cranking the gain too much as well. Anything over 4 is pretty much overkill..
