Is it just me, or when seeing the commercial for the movie Real Steel the first time, did anyone else think it was going to be called rock em sock em robots?

Looks terrible, but it can't be worse than Transformers Rise of the Machines.

EDIT: Derp. I meant revenge of the fallen.

I thought it was gonna suck too, but it was actually pretty good. See it with your fadda. It's a father-son type of movie.

It looks like a crappy movie to me in all honesty.

Too much special effects.

That's exactly what I thought it was going to be. It came across as a movie that was made to sell merchandise. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I actually have no idea what it is.

Meh, I'll probably download it.

First I heard about the Battleship movie. Then came the Angry Birds movie.

Now, a goddamn Rockem Sockem Robots movie.

And millions of people will see these steaming piles of shit that hollywood calls films.

My faith in humanity is at absolute fucking zero.

Yeah I mean it's not like Shakespeare wrote plays based on pre-existing characters. This is an invention of Hollywood!

That's an understatement. It's the worst movie I've ever seen. I would've left the cinema if I wasn't there with most of my friends and a full house.

Never even seen those robot things before. I'm guessing kids toys, or TV show?

Pffft. Those with true childhoods watched Dragonball Z and played Alex the Kidd on the Sega Master System II.

Rise of the Machines? That was a Terminator movie. I think you mean Revenge of the Fallen. I actually liked that more than Dark of the Moon.

And I saw Real Steel with a friend last Saturday. I thought it was pretty good. Reviews are mostly positive.

Derp. Yes. That's exactly what I meant.

Rise of the Machines wasn't great, but it was passable. Revenge of the Fallen was abominable.

And now I realise that acdcfan was probably mocking me.
