Oké so I was playing around with my dad's guitar and amp because mine were at my mom's house. It's a Cube 60
So I was just doing some stunts but I didn't realise I was using a short cord.
So I broke the input jack and now It fell into the pre-amp.
Kinda fixed it right now.

If you need to post on here for advice about fixing anything, it's safe to assume you don't know what you're doing.

That being the case, if you try fixing it yourself you're likely to do even more damage.

Your only option is to take it to a guitar shop to fix it and face the consequences with your Dad.

Unless he's going to savagely beat you, just cop getting in trouble. You were dicking around with his stuff and you have to own up to your responsibilities.

He'd be even madder if you went around his back and lied to him.

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

I know what's wrong with it but I don't know how to open it.
I wrecked the screw that held the input jack in place and now it's loose.

That's a sound advice!

You're not listening.

Don't screw around with it anymore.

Own up to your dad.

Grow up.

Can I fix this quickly? or do I need to bring it to a guitar shop?

uh, what?

I sort of fixed it.
The chord is now in the input jack but if you take the chord out it will fall again.
But I'll tell him when he comes home and then we will try to open it up and get it back together.

Good.

Don't touch it. Go watch Spongebob and wait for him to come back.

Perhaps physically.

How do you come to the conclusion that I'm mentally a 10 year old or something. Because I "broke" my dad's amp?

It has more to do with your desire to avoid facing consequences.

Why face consequences if you can fix it?
My dad didn't care though.

Clearly I'm leaps and bounds ahead of you maturity wise then.

Age =/= maturity.

And did you break your dad's amp or guitar? Or both?

How has this anything to do with my maturity?
If you conclude that you are mentally years ahead of me based on a few posts, fine I don't care.
'm not going to discuss this any further.

Point proven.

Have a good one.
