i have an epiphone dot, and when i was changing its strings, the bridge came off and when i went to put it back on the screws? holding it in place turned and then both ended up different heights, obviously i am a complete novice when it comes to setting up a guitar, and this has caused very heavy fret buzz, is there anyone who can help me? is there a way to adjust them so the buzz will go away but the action wont be too high?

slowly raise them untill there is no more buzz, you may have to adjust the truss rod also.

A quick search on youtube will get you how to videos.
