Hi

I have £400 to spend on an amp
I play Punk to Heavy metal with very occasional Blues
It will be for mainly for home use however I am planning to gig in the future.

I was thinking the Peavey 6505 but I'm not sure

Thanks

traynor ycv50b on thomann? depending on the exchange rate it should be around £400.

concern is the 6505 might be too heavy/modern-sounding. plus the traynor is just the better amp, too.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

aw shoot they raised the price on the traynor. I didn't realise that, it was £400 until very recently. Sorry about that.

There are some good deals on jet cities at the moment on ebay from their UK distributor, but I haven't tried them.
