Hey guys, I have a question. I have a GSR395 and can't find a proper allen wrench size to adjust the truss rod. I have one of those kits with 10+ different wrenches, but none of them seems to fit. I tried to peek thru the cover hole to inspect the rod and couldn' see the hexagonal pattern of an allen wrench. So, I need a special tool or just a regular allen wrench?

I don't think that the GSR line has a "special" truss rod, I think it's the same as any Ibanez bass.

I don't know about Ibanez basses, but on my Ibanez guitars it's a 7mm hex wrench. I assume it'd be larger for bass, but I would contact Rich at http://www.ibanezrules.com/index.htm.

He knows just about anything relating to Ibanez, so I'm sure he could tell you what you need.

Ibanez GSR use 4mm wrenches.
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

it's close but not quite, a 4mm doesn't fit it.

maybe I just got a weird one though, it's not unheard of with these things
