I am looking to get an amp attentuator for my marshall. I do not gig and play at home a lot. I am looking for an attenuator that will allow me to get the tones without bleeding through my ears or agitating my family. What are some good attenuators that are not that expensive. I do not want to go over $80. Is this possible? Thanks for your help.

100-150 watt attenuator for under 80...not that I know of. Not sure I'd trust one at that price.

That's a good price, probably worth getting. Don't expect to squish it down from a roar to TV volumes, though. Get the sound you want as quiet as you can with the master volume, then knock it down a bit with the attenuator.

Also good, but make sure you know what model it is. You'll want the 100 or larger, really preferably 150.
