I think we can all appreciate a good cave. Whether big or small, empty or full of bats, insects and plants. By now you've hopefully probably realized I'm talking about actual caves and not vaginas.

Since I was a kid I've been fascinated by these things and I've always liked exploring them. So how about you?

Some god damn awesome photos of cave. The first one is so huge you could apparently fit a sky scraper into it.

This crystal cave is really cool too:

And finally, this awesome underwater cave where they recently found some verywell preserved fossils from crocodiles, bats and more

Let's discuss caves. And post pics.

Are vaginas not supposed to have bats or insects in them?

...I'll be back, I need to make some phone calls.

EDIT:
That underground forest cave thing is quite possibly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on the internet.

oh man you just renewed my dream of dinosaurs still existing. just in underground dino-communities.

Went snorkeling in a cave down in mexico this summer (with this song stuck in my head http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fzku_5WB5yE). the water really is incredibly clear and refreshing. it looks like the rocks are 5 feet down when they're really at least 20.

Holy shit, someone else had that dream?

Bro.

OT: Waitomo Caves in NZ are pretty sweet, glow worms, black water rafting and such. I want to do an awesome world tour of caves though, shit'd be awesome.

I want to read your essays and blogs of the artistic nature!

There's a cool one near my house. It's about a 30 min hike up this trail. It's not huge, but you can walk in and crawl around to a few different open caverns and such. It's fun to explore it.

When I was in Spain, we went to a really big cave. It was nice, but a bit overly touristy, I'd like to go to a nice quiet one sometime.

You seriously have some of the best threads ever Kensai.

Carlsbad Caverns anyone?

anyone know of the picture where the point of view is from inside a cave (kinda crystaly) looking outside and a planet is very close out in space. I think its a snowy setting too. I thought it was a cool pic when I saw it.
