It's a Kay........

Weren't those like the First Acts of the '50's? Other than looking totally badass, it sounds pretty nice I think, but kinda hard to believe that its made out of plywood. What are Kay Swingmasters made out of?

Wood, most likely.

Yep, it'd say so, too. Happen to know the kind of wood?

Tree wood

Honestly, you can't really tell due to the finish, and I don't think anybody will know based off of tone.

What's a tele made out of? Generally ash or alder. Anybody know what semi hollows Kay's are generally made out of?

IIRC most hollow Kays are laminated maple or birch.

EDIT:what do you mean underneath that?
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

Wait... So does that mean it's maple through and through? (not including the big hole)

Could be Basswood or even Poplar. I had a "rescued" Harmony arch-top back in the 60's that was Poplar in the back/sides and [possibly] Maple laminate on the top; but coulda been Birch.
