I have an uncle who lives in Golden. It's so beautiful. I love going there. I even considered going to Boulder for college.
He's a freak of nature, but we love him so.

Colorado's anything but boring, go out and take a walk. You want boring? Try Illinois; suburban Illinois.

I live in Cheyenne Wyoming, right above you guys. I love going down to Colorado when I can, especially since there's not a single guitar store in Wyoming.

I'm driving there in a couple of weeks from here in Philadelphia. It's my second major road trip and I'm excited!

Exploring my home is pretty much the greatest thing, besides exploring abroad.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

Illinois resident checking in. Try down here in central Illinois, as soon as you get on the edge of town all you see is miles and miles of corn fields.

See avatar. And school. And stuff.

Proud Coloradan here, to say the least. Cant imagine any place much better than what we got here.

And **** no, it's not "Coloradoan".

I'd much rather see corn than buildings upon buildings I'll tell ya that.

Back to Colorado, it's undoubtedly one of the most scenic states I've ever drove through, once took a whole day driving through the Rockies to get to Yellowstone Park, that whole trip was amazing visually.

KnightBand: Aye, even just the drive on I-70 through the mountains is breathtaking enough. 36 up past Boulder is as well, as is highway 6... Dont get down to the southern bits of mah state much.

And waking up every morning to the Flatirons and such is quite awesome as well. Soon, soon I'll be climbing one...

EDIT: For reference, this is pretty much my life, every day:

Love it.

Geology and stuff? Probably. The picture is a tad dated, and the Geology building is pretty much brand new... Same for C4C and the addition to the JILA side of Duane... among others.

I'm going to Boulder to pick my friend up from his University studies. I'm pretty sure that picture posted earlier is where I'm going. However, it's going to be rather cold, so do you have any tips for surviving December in the Rocky's?

Colorado is boring if you stay inside your house all day. Take a hike and it's a different story.

Greeley, CO is worst to come to though
