Song is Back on the Chaingang by The Pretenders and I have pretty much know all of the chords, but I can't figure out what he is doing between 0:38 to 0:40 and between 0:56 to 0:59. I can't tell which notes he is pull off of to get that sound. The chords are D, A, Em, and a G variation (possibly G6). Any help would be appreciated. If anyone can figure out the chords before te main riff would be helpful too.

The chords at 38 seconds seem like 022030 and 022033, not sure at all though.

As for the second part:

E--3---3-2-0---------------------------------------
B--0---0-------3---2---0---2-----------------------
G--0---0-------2---2---2---2-----------------------
D--2---2-------2---2---2---2-----------------------
A--2---2-------------------------------------------
E--0---0-------------------------------------------

The chords are Em, Asus4, A, Asus2, A.
E:-6
B:-0
G:-5
D:-6
A:-0
E:-3
