Well, it was assembled in the US, but has a stamped MIJ neck.

Recently bought a nice tele from a guy on eBay. AMAZING GUITAR THAT WAS AN ABSOLUTE STEAL!!! Thats all i can say.

Really light weight, great feel, amazing finish. The pickup combination can be a little muddy in the neck but the bridge is great. The neck is a little thicker than most tele's which i like. Did i mention the finish was great?

Check out his ebay store and see what else he's been working on, some great stuff.

i know the MIM ones are made in Mexico but assembled in the US, so I'd guess it's just the same for the MIJ ones. but either way, that is one gorgeous tele, congrats sir!

As unholy said. I believe they're made in Japan, but assembled in the US.

I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

pretty sure that's a fake. the sticker with the serial number is on the bottom of the neck can't think of anytime i've seen that. fender used to stamp the serial number on the neckplate but never a sticker.
#8
Ah man, that looks fake.

Monwobobbo is right on this Greeny.

Isn't that how they do it now? I know the Pawn Shop series has the serial and MIJ on the heel like that.

took the time to read through all the specs and it's a partscaster so i'd say you paid way to much. warmouth body and a bunch of parts (granted nice ones) with a supposed fender tele neck. doesn't make it a fender at all though.
#14
From what I can see the sticker is common place on all the pictures of MIJ Telecasters from the early 1990s another way to confirm is unbolt the neck it should have a serial number or manufacturing number under there aswell. I hope for your sake its not a fake, its always a shame to hear someone get duped. HNGD in the long run though!

what a piece of crap that thing was.

I guess with Fenders it's a bit easier to bolt on a legit neck or pieces to make it seem even more real :\ never really thought about that

Yeah, it may be a fake, BUT, You said yourself, it's an amazing guitar, at an absolute steal, so if you like it, and like how it sounds and feels, then don't be too hard on yourself, man.

I have a legit japanese Fender Jaguar and it has what seems to be a sticker, just like you, but it's actually under the neck's gloss. I wouldn't worry about it being a fake.

However, 2450$ does seem like a lot of money for a japanese Fender... I'm no specialist, but aren't the CIJ Fenders usually between MIMs and MIAs? not speaking about the one you get over there in Japan, but the ones distributed worldwide

are you happy with it? well, thats what matters?

but the material product for what you bought, im my opinion, yes you got ripped off. even made in america teles arent 2450.

are you in another country? because even on musicians friend almost no teles are 2450, you would need to buy a artist signature model to get that high.

Take down all the numbers and gather your pics and contact Fender... If it's a fake, they'll want to know about it to get it stopped... I'm really hoping that they have some sort of explination for you... Good Luck..

so you guys think its fake and i got ripped off?

dude read your specs again which part of warmoth body is confusing everyone. it's not a fender just a guitar with a fender neck (and that is still subject to debate) it has some nice parts but it's stil a partscaster any way you want to look at it. so the ? is is a partscaster worth that much.
#37
i was told warmoth was the style of body and that it was a fender made in the US from MIJ parts?

doesn't the combination of MIJ and MIA make it worth more than one or the other though?
