There are a couple parts to this equation -

It has a quilted maple top. Interesting side note I think, although the picture is called tiger eye, flamed maple is sometimes known as tiger maple. Maybe the tiger eye finish was originally done on flamed maple? And the name went with it since it's the same stain color.

There is a stain color.

Then there is the process to do a "burst" finish. Which I think involves another stain color I'm not sure.

wow, i just guessed, just cause it reminds me of DBZ's tiger eye finish on some of their guitars.
