My Dad just told me he's getting me a ticket to see Alter Bridge at Wembley Arena next month!
It'll be the third time i've seen them live. The first time was coincidentally a year ago today (20/10 2010) at Rock City in Nottingham and the second time was at this years Download Festival.

AB have said that the gig at Wembley will be the highlight of their career, and i'm going to be there! I'M SO EXCITED.

Black Stone Cherry will be there too, also one of my favourite bands.

I'm a happy bunny and wanted to share.

So, have you guys ever seen your favourite band live?

Iron Maiden were my favourite band when I saw them like 4 years ago. My current favourite band is Faith No More and I haven't seen them.
#6
Saw Streetlight Manifesto a couple of months ago. Had been wanting to go to one of their concerts but never could.
#9
Sounds good I saw Iron Maiden at the M.E.N in Manchester a few months ago. They were f*cking amazing.

Three times. And judging by the way the recent support acts have been, that'll be it. At least for a while. I'm not shelling out that amount of money this year for 3 shit acts and an awesome one.

Queen + Paul Rodgers live at Wembley Arena in '08. Best gig I have ever seen.

Closely followed by Magnum in '05 and '09 and Bruce Springsteen in '09.

Fave band is Led Zeppelin and well being born in the 80s nope I didn't have the privileged of seeing them perform live. Second fave band is Pink Floyd and I saw Roger Water's do DSOM in 2007 and that was an epic concert, for the whole show there was an inflatable pig and astronaut floating around the arena. The Pink Floyd experience has been the best show so far and I have seen a HUGE line up of artists.

I don't have a specific "favorite band" but I have seen most of my favorites live, some multiple times. I'm seeing Balance and Composure for the second time tonight actually, and they definitely qualify as one of my favorites.
#23
Never got to see Ozzy-Sabbath, but I saw Dio-Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Blind Guardian. I honestly don't care if I never go to a show again. Those four bands live are inspiring enough for me.

I saw The Gaslight Anthem for the first time on the 22/10/2010 at Southampton Guildhall. I was ill as fuck, but I still made the journey and shouted along to all the songs, which resulted in me not being able to talk for three days. Good times.

Oh, I thought so, but you said it'd be the only time. THA are still together and touring though dude.

I've seen Coheed & Cambria twice, but the first time was a festival set at Download festival and the other time they were supporting Deftones. So no headline shows and they probably won't come to the UK again until their next album is released a long time from now. But I met them at a signing tent before I saw them live the first time which was awesome, so I guess that cancels out the no-headlining thing

He came to a horrible end... but a beautiful finish.

I spent a while talking to each of them after the show, and Dean said it was fortunate I came to the show, because they're pretty much done touring after this.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU SONOFABITCH WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THAT.

This is especially tragic news, as when I saw them recently, I showed up late and only saw them play Digital Veil.

Say it ain't true

Digital Veil is a masterpiece.

I'm so glad I got to see them with Travis, but I really like what I've heard of Ryan with them.
