I'm making my next guitar but i'm stuck in the design of it. Les Paul or Explorer... What body shape do you like the best?

Buying the wood in a few days so make your vote count.

Whichever one feels more comfortable to you.

I'm a sucker for Explorers though.

Are you going for an actual Les Paul body style (binding, maple cap, etc.) Because I can tell you right now it's a bitch. If not, flat Les Paul's just aren't as cool. I'd say Explorer.

Both. A Dean Cadillac.

I actually really like the Cadillac. I don't know why so many people don't.

But I prefer Standard explorer over it though, its one of my favorite shapes.

I was mostly suggesting that for the lulz.

It's pretty ugly IMO, but it's not the sin against humanity some people like to claim. But if you wanna make one do it - at the very least, seeing things like Cadillacs and some B.C. Richs and the like break up some monotony. More power to you if you dig it!

Well, its really not that far off of a standard Paul shape. Its just got a sharp horn and upper curve thingy (what the hell is that thing called?). But the headstocks dean decided to put on there are uglier than zombie Al Davis. I want to see one of them with a regular paul headstock.

I really like both, but I haven't got the chance to play an explorer, so I vote Les Paul.
I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

I like my women how I like my guitars. Curvy and like it when I finger them.

Aesthetics: Explorer
Comfortability: Les Paul

Sound-wise, I thought the Explorer by Gibson was thin and not really greatly sounding. Of all the guitars Gibson put out I've played, I think the explorer was the least satisfying.
