I'm looking for a new acoustic guitar. I have no idea what brand but I do know that I want an all wood acoustic electric guitar. I have about $950ish USD to spend. I was thinking about the Epiphone Inspired Texan, but I think I can get alittle more bang for my buck.

Look in to Yamaha, seagulls, and takamines
2010 Epiphone Dot
2010 Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe
2009 Taylor 110 acoustic

you can. look at blueridge guitars - here is a link to their solid guitars

all solid eastman guitars - some amazing deals, as they are beautifully made and appointed

and here are some all solid recording kings. they have an all solid dread and an all solid 000 for only $350 each, and they have more expensive models, as well.

and be sure and look at guild guitars, too. they have some in your price range that are great bang for the buck. i really like them.

If you can save $50 more, buy a taylor 214ce.
Les Paul Standard
Fender Pro Junior
Epiphone Pr-150

i wouldn't say that's more bang for the buck. it's a laminate back and sides guitar for the price that many companies charge for an all solid. and to me, they don't sound that good unplugged compared to other brands and higher priced taylors.
