I just got guitar pro 6 the other day and I have been fiddling around with it and I downloaded some tabs for it and they loaded fine but when ever I play it it just kinda sits there. all the buttons grey out like it was playing but it isn't doing anything.

anyone have this issue? I do have the soundbanks installed

If you don't care about the soundbanks then download TuxGuitar, free and opens .GPX and powertab.

this. it's basically a simplified gp5 or something, but works just the same

I use TuxGuitar to convert certain files back to GP5.0 but does anyone know why this would mess up the drum track on my pc?

Also, I don't like the GP6 interface.

Guitar pro 6 was a real dissapointment

Though to be on topic, is this the legit version or not? Be honest
