It's mainly just acoustic and vocals, but I added a little bit of electric guitar on the chorus.

I put this together in about an hour. It's pretty lo-fi quality, but I did the best with the equipment I had. And like the title, it's C4C.

Hope you enjoy!
I can honestly say I have really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

Not bad, I love bon iver and you did an ok job.

Since the production is selfdescribed as lo-fi I will not rail you too hard there. I did have feel like the entrances of the electric guitar could have been produced more smoothly, maybe fade it in slightly or something so it's not just WHAM!! MORE INSTRUMENTATION.

also I think I could hear clicking of a mouse or some sounds on that overdub that were extra, in this case you could trim the track more exactly, or even a longish fadein on an untrimmed track would help eliminate them as well.

As for the performance, the acoustic guitar playing was very good and I didn't mind the singing though I feel like you could be better (you're still probably a much better singer than I am, anyways :p).

All in all, for an hour's work, not bad at all

This is a pretty fleshed out cover for something produced in only an hour. Something like this would probably take me all day. Your performance has an atmospheric vibe to it, much like Bon Iver. I'd say that as far as mix is concerned, I thought the Chorus vocals were a bit loud. I would consider turning down the vox a hair, but that's only a personal opinion.

As far as vocal ability, I found your falsetto quite impressive. Not a lot of people can pull off singing falsetto live.

Overall, this was a great effort. Feel free to check out and comment on some of my stuff if you'd like...

Hey man, I first heard the second attempt of your cover, and I can say that it was awesome. You definitely improved your main idea. I don't see anything wrong with the playing and the singing parts were really beautifull and I just was able to feel that you sing them with big emotion. I don't think that the fact that your track is not HD is a big problem, because it sounds very atmospheric and kinda ambient, if you know what I mean. Great work man!

Glad to see I could help with some constructive criticism... I just relistened to it, and the electric didn't "pop" in, it was very smooth. Sounds great man!

Hey man. Thanks for the crit. I didn't see a thread for your song, so I'll just post my response here. Your playing for the most part was great. You kept a good groove and rhythm the track. There were a few parts where I thought it might have been a bit sloppy, however like you said, your tone could use some improvement. I'm not sure if that partly your amps fault, or from the way it was recorded. I really like how you played all the parts as well. Really shows you can play rhythm and lead, which is something not every one can do well. I for one have trouble playing rhythm for heavier stuff like this. Great job man, and keep it up! I'd just recommend you work on your tone. Sometimes just having a better tone makes you sound like a better guitarist.
