When's the next board competition coming around? I didn't enter last time

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

It's in late January I believe, always right around Winter NAMM, with enough time for people to spend holiday money on new toys.

ha - thanks
i had the mega obscure flanger by the same brand but it sounded so shit that i sold it off to a hardcore collector and snagged this pedal when it next turned up, on the off-chance that it was better. it is better... only marginally though.

Ignoring the awful squeal it's got I thought it sounded pretty good.

More is always the answer.

Yeah but at the money to buy all three, I would shoot for a TC G system.
Need lots of little stuff that won't get a missive amount of use that sounds as good as possible for under or around 400. I won't be using any of the shit overdrives on the unit.

I thought the answer was always Dumble.

Yay I'll have Strymon love on my board by then! And hopefully a tickled onions fuzz too

Should have my all DIY board done by then. If not, I've got the cork board.

I'm either getting full time work or getting a shitton of government money over summer, so I'll probably do a total board over-haul and actually have a shot at BOTB by then

Man, I go to pickup hay and missed 100+ posts?
WTF is wrong here?

Me needs to smoke a bowl now.

Ok then.
Chris got OP, so he gets the job of linking all the board pics in the OP, or whatever.
Glad it wasn't me. Sounds to much like work to me.

I'll probably have my board looking pretty respectable by late Feb, assuming I work all summer break. Though with what I want to add, I'll need that work a lot

Go smoke your bowl, Rob. Smoke some for me. ha

So guys, I feel like there is no super interesting pedal everyone is after atm.. Feels weird. ha

I still don't actually get the hype around the Klon/Klones. It's just not my sort of OD.

Don't want to put out that kind of money. This will mostly be used for certain covers people request/shit like that. I generally don't use anything other than amp drive/ boost/wah/delay. Thats why I want to keep it down to like 400 bucks.

And the answer is: klon into a Dumble.

it's not really an od. it's supposed to be used for a boost.

plus the sexy enclosure and the massive used prices make it appealing to most.

i might get the new one if and when they come out.

The fact that a guy near me makes a good clone for $120 makes it appealing to me. Especially since I can get it for $80

'Spose that's true about the Klon, but even still, to my ears, I'm yet to find a boost I like more than my BB Pre.

It's not super high gain, but it can get some fantastic crunch. I'm tempted to get a second one to use in that fashion, or maybe another OD entirely, not sure.
