(EDIT: new version now with vocals)

I wrote this in 2003 with Guitar Pro and now gave a shot at recording it. It'll propably take a while before I can play the solos I wrote for this song and before I'll get around singing it so I thought I won't be mixing it before that (I realize this version is a bit heavy around 200-1000Hz). However, it's a cool, simple tune -- no harm in sharing it now.

Some of the fingerings were pretty awkward since I wrote this song without trying it out on a real guitar but it was a good practice, too.

Also I tried out doing 4 guitar tracks in following fashion:
first guitar
track 1 panned 25% left and
track 2 panned 75% right
second guitar
track 1 panned 75% left and
track 2 panned 25% right.

Tell me what you think and if you have other suggestions I could try out. This sounds a bit weird in some lead parts.

VERY NICE! I absolutely love it. And nothing needs to be changed in this song. Maybe some vocals integrated in on parts. I can tell you have some Maiden influences with the gallops and guitar harmonies.
UP THE IRONS! Very good!

As said above, very Maiden-feeling. Very upbeat, and catchy. I could definitely see some soaring vocals over the gallops. Good solo sections, just the right amount of flash, but solid tone and fluidity. Let me know if you get vocals down!

By the way, if you don't mind taking a listen to my first clip, I'd love to hear some feedback! https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1490473
