Hey, that's my first solo cover uploaded on youtube. It's the Unforgiven by Metallica.
I am playing for about a year now, would really appreciate some comments and suggestions. Feel free to rate the video too.

Here it is, on youtube:

really good playing there. But Id have to say I dont like your tone. Sounds like your mids were scooped out and you have a really strong distortion pedal. its quite unpleasant, my opinion though, great playing. try adding some mids and backing of the distortion a bit.
Marty Friedman is GOD!

curently in a SEX MACHINEGUNS and X JAPAN phase AND Galneryus AND Anthem phase

damn J-Metal, why you so awesome

Thanks guys!

Well the recording was done with a smartphone. It actually sounds different in person.
But yes I use a lot of gain, like 7-10 on the vox + 10 level on a TS9.
Mids were set on 5-7/10.

If I don't use the pedal, well the distortion is just not enough, for that kind of music.
Also it makes me play a little easier and make less mistakes since I play more relaxed if I have a lot of distortion on.

But will try to improve that
