Before too long, we'll all have something similar to the omni-tools in Mass Effect.

Wait until they've minimized it and it's a camera/thingy the size of a drawing pin that fits on glasses. Then you'll want it.

Mememememe me.

Who would want a device with a touch screen? Who would want a home computer? How could a computer less than 1.5 tons ever be possible?

Just think about what you could do with that. You're no longer limited to a single physical surface for large multitouch surfaces. This could make some really cheap devices available, as there's a lot less hardware interfaces. And, less physical interfaces means longer life, as there's nothing to break.

The possibilties of this are really exciting. Do want. I mean, this is pretty much sci-fi hologram computers here.

Not sure if want. I guess I'll wait until it's minimized like someone else said. And until they reduce that lag

The first touch screen phones that came around were pretty laggy but now they're pretty fast, give it a few years and this is the future

technically it's the future already but shush

This looks like something Tim and Eric would do. Not srs enough for practical application yet.

I personally hate touch sceens.
Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise

I hate early touch screens that were laggy and weren't smooth, the iTouch is pretty much spot on apart from the occasional spazz.

I'm partial to both sides. One side of me says "I don't need all this gimmicky stuff on a phone/tablet/whatever, just a keyboard, terminal and a decent text editor is all I need," while the other part of me says "Oooh! Touch screens!"
