Glad to hear a cover of this song. I've been listening to this song nonstop today... but anywho...

Your voice is great for this song. You did a great job singing it. I'd just work on your strumming when you're playing. I'm not sure if it's partly because of the separately recorded tracks, but you gotta get that down. Also, I really wish you would have kept the bassline you were playing in the beginning going through out the whole song. And then you could have recorded a seperate track of you strumming the chords, vocals, etc. Then you could have had given it a little bit more of a dancy feel to it rather than just strumming the chords.

But all in all, it's a great attempt at a cover! Just work on your rhythm playing, and you'll be on your way.

Here's mine if you don't mind!
I can honestly say I have really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

I don't always post on UG, but when I do, I post in the Pit. Stay thirsty my friends.
Hey again! Well, what can I say, just another of your really beautiful covers, which I really enjoyed! Absolutely great and nice singing. Yeah, maybe there a tiny problems with the rhytm, but for me that isn't so important, cauise I don't listen to the playing when you are singing! Great cover!

Nice cover! Sweet voice, and nice playing. I find that the vocal track seems shifted out of sync a little from the rest, making it sound rushed... if you nudge it a few ticks to the right, it will mesh better with the music.

Also - a bit of trivia: they used to be called Foster and the People, but many people heard it as "Foster the People" so they decided to run with it.

Shir, I didn't like it as much as I like your other stuff. I don't know why, I think its just a bit of everything, the rhytm, the song choice, the editing, I like when you sit down and play something and sing it together and do it all real organically, I think that's when your at your best. But you got talent, keep playing and do another song, your only gonna get better!
