They'll ask you if you're so angry all the time because you can not find a mate that sufficiently resembles your mother in appearance in character.

Reply to her every question with "go fuck yourself."

That should do the trick. How did you end up there anyway?

I was really really hoping you'd reply to that with "Go fuck yourself". I no longer care about your plight.

Basically, the psychologist will ask you your name for recordkeeping purposes, then extend its tentacles, pierce your skull and drink your cerebrospinal fluid. When you regain consciousness, there will be no evidence this happened. Not until you hear the trigger phrase and kill the president of Madagascar.

They asked me about my masturbation habits, so be prepared for that. >.>

anger management?

angsty teen?

I've never got along with psychiatrical professionals and head doctors. They just piss me off.
#20
they'll try to find out the the root of all your anger. they are the nosiest people i've ever met

edit: they also never seem to understand about how something could make you feel a certain way. their lack of understanding really pisses me off. they'll also keep telling you shit that you already know, over and over again.

Well when someone is sitting in a chair jerking off while looking me in the eye, I'm forced to wonder about his masturbation habits too, and I'm not even a professional.

This really.

some terribly over-optimistic cognitive behavioural therapy or systematic approach using some lame ass classical conditioning techniques to try and change your ways, leaving out the whole 'people don't learn/change' thing and the fact that whatever they do won't last very long at all

drug therapy's awesome tho, too bad you're not seeing a psychiatrist

You guys recommending not cooperating fully are idiots. I tried to do that "tough guy who doesn't need help" bullshit. Eventually, I tried to take my own life. When I started therapy, I was close minded and mentally called bullshit on everything the therapist said. My life didn't get any better and I quit therapy thinking that was just how my life had to be. When I finally went back to therapy, I honestly tried to take the therapist's advice. Strangely enough, I started seeing improvements in my outlook and in my mental well being.

Going to see a psychologist or other mental health care professional can be extraordinarily beneficial to your well being. If you go into those meetings with a closed mind, then you're not going to get anything out of it and you'll be that much the poorer, both monetarily and emotionally. If you go to see a professional, take his advice and make the changes that he recommends. You might just be surprised and see some positive changes in your life. If not, you at least tried. If you go in there close minded, you aren't winning anything; you're actually losing out on help that could benefit you. So really, by going in with a closed mind, you're admitting defeat before you even tried.

Don't go in with a closed mind because some guys on the internet said so. They don't have degrees and they aren't looking out for your best interests. The professional has both of those qualities. Don't go and try to play mind games. He won't be able to help you and the novelty will wear off quickly. Don't think you're the smartest guy in the room. You might be, but odds are strongly against it.

Seriously, are you going to give up on a chance to make your life better because of some faceless guy on a guitar forum? Don't be stupid.

They have ways of making you talk but it's not hell by any means, they just have friendly conversation with you. they occasionally blind side you with a question. but they try to understand you to help you find the root of your problem. it's pretty chill. had to go through it for PTS.
