I've come across a chord that I haven't found a name for and was wondering if anyone knew and could tell me other chords that would go with it?

e|-x
b|-1
g|-4
d|-2
a|-3
e|-0

Context? Otherwise Cmaj7 1st inversion. In the key of C try following with Dm7 or Fmaj7 to create root movement by step.

Treating it as the IV in G Major, this also sounds nice. Cmaj7/E - F♯m7b5 - Gmaj7 - A9sus4 (SD) - D6/9(add♯11)
-0-0-2-3-4
-1-1-3-3-5
-4-2-4-4-4
-2-2-4-5-4
-3-------5
-0-2-3-5

All voices move stepwise with a modulation.

To learn which chords go well together it's worth looking in to some basic theory. I can appreciate it's not for everybody though. Some people "just wanna play", and that's fine.
